Before today, I would only (generally) post when there was something worth posting about. This led to sometimes a week, sometimes more, between posts. On my old blog, I once stated my aim was to post every day. I didn’t keep it up for long, but my idea back then was that, most other blogs or sites that I visited posted something new for me to read every morning, so why couldn’t I. I’m now going to start posting more often than before. It won’t be every day, and maybe not every other day, although sometimes it might. Basically, I’ll post when I feel like posting…but don’t expect ground-breaking news every time. I’ll start now…
Gaming
Last night I decided to have a blast through Rock Band. I got it a couple of weeks ago, and had fun for a few days while I was off work. Once back to work (I live in Northern Ireland but work (most of the time) in England) I didn’t have my drums with me, but I did have a guitar from when I bought Guitar Hero 3, with me. I tried to play it last week, but the batteries had died, and I finally remembered to pick some up yesterday. So last night I fired it up and had a lot of fun playing the guitar career on Medium. Yes, I know, medium sucks and is easy as pie…but I like to play through on Easy first, then Medium…and work my way up to Expert. Upon saying that, I never got very far on Expert in any of the Guitar Hero games! It was a lot of fun, and I managed to get about half way through the career. Then I fired up Flatout: Ultimate Carnage. This is a really fun game, in my opinion, and was never given the proper credit it’s due! I actually was recommended this game while getting my hair cut by a guy who doesn’t really play much games, but picked this up and loved it! The annoying thing about playing it last night was that I spent about half an hour trying to get the “Insane Air” achievement, and after being certain I was meeting the requirements, for some reason I thought I’d check to see if I already had it. Guess what…I did! =( So, I then spent the next 5 minutes or so trying to get the “Burnin’ Up” achievement (Using nitro continually for 10 seconds) and then my achievement streak was safe for another day!
Blog Owners:
Also, I’m thinking I want to do ‘fun’ things with my blog. I’m not sure exactly what though. Any bloggers out there want to pass on some advice? If you run a blog, what makes yours sparkle? What keeps people coming back for more, and interacting more?
